The Lighthouse Magic Tee Two-Person Scramble
Professor Quinn and Landon have come up with a way to bring a little more fun, strategy, and excitement to a typical four-person, 18-hole golf outing.
Two teams of two. Twenty Magic Tees per team. One shared prize kitty. A Magic Tee lets the second partner tee up a shot before reaching the putting green, even in a bunker. Use it once, then retire it.
When should you use one, and when should you save it? That is part of the fun.

Your foursome at a glance
Before the round
Agree on a price and purchase 20 Magic Tees per team.
All purchases form the kitty. No additions after play begins.
During the round
First partner plays from the ground. Second partner may
spend one Magic Tee. Select the best shot and repeat
until the green.
At the finish
The lowest 18-hole team score wins. The winning partners
split the kitty equally.
Weekend play spreads the Lighthouse name. The kitty goes to the golfers; a Foundation gift is a separate, voluntary contribution.

Invite your golf club, business, or community group to host a Lighthouse Magic Tee Scramble benefiting The Lighthouse for Humanity Foundation. We would welcome a conversation about your event.
Our planned tournament format
36 two-person teams. 72 golfers. A shotgun start with two teams at every hole.
Magic Tees cost $5 each, with all purchases completed before the starting signal. Twenty per team is recommended.
At 20 tees per team, sales generate a $3,600 prize pool: $1,800 for first, $1,100 for second, and $700 for third.
For our planned tournament, the course donates half of collected green fees to the Foundation. Magic Tee receipts fund prizes. Other hosts arrange their own course contribution and event details.
